The Men's Deer Ridge Vest is a lightweight model with unique padding that creates a down-like feel and provides good insulation. The vest has a straight cut and a high stand-up collar, one chest pocket and two side pockets with zippers. The main zipper and the pockets are reversible. Elastic trim is used at the bottom and in the cuffs. The vest can be folded into the front pocket, which converts into a storage bag. The following materials were used to make the jacket: 100% polyester fabric with a density of 56 g/m² for the outer layer, Thermolite Micro with a density of 60 g/m² for padding, and 100% nylon for the lining.
